Gardner announces TV for Hot Springs game

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – University of Arkansas women’s basketball coach Susie Gardner announced her Lady Razorbacks’ game with Nicholls State University on Dec. 15 is a part of the University’s cable package with Cox Sports Arkansas. Gardner made the announcement today at the Hot Springs National Park Rotary Club luncheon and at a press conference at The Summit following the event. The Lady Razorbacks’ game with Nicholls in Hot Springs is the team’s second appearance in the Spa City, but fans in the northwest portion of the state will be able to see the game live via Cox Cable. “Hot Springs was a great experience when we played here two years ago, and we were happy to return to the Summit,” Gardner said. “By having the game in our Cox package, our fans back in Fayetteville can also be a part of the game.” Gardner spoke briefly to the Rotarians to promote local ticket sales for the game. Tickets for the game at $10 for adults, $7 for students, for reserved lower side court; $8 for adults, $5 for students for upper side court and baseline. Groups of 20 or more fans are $5. Tickets for the Hot Springs game may be purchased through TICKETMASTER or at Summit box office. The Lady Razorbacks have two games schedule for Cox Sports Arkansas this season. The second game will be announced later this month. Cox Sports Arkansas is available to Cox Cable subscribers, primarily in the northwest and River Valley areas of the state. Arkansas, 17-14 last season, begins formal practice on Saturday, Oct. 15, at Bud Walton Arena. The preseason begins for the Lady’Backs on Oct. 27 with the Red-White Game.
