FAYETTEVILLE — Senior All-American Katherine Grable moved up to the No. 2 spot in the nation after scoring a season best 39.625 in the all-around. The Razorbacks scored a 196.275 in a home loss to No. 3 LSU to stay at the spot to No. 11 in the Gyminfo rankings. Grable scored a 39.625 to win her fifth all-around title of the season to defeat LSU’s fourth-ranked gymnast in Rheagan Courville to remain undefeated on the season. Grable also scored a 9.95 on the floor to end the meet and collect her fifth title to remain undefeated on that event as well. On the bars, she tied her career best for the event with a 9.90. There will be four gymnasts ranked in the top-10 nationally in the Razorbacks next meet at Florida. Grable who is ranked 2nd, will face Florida’s top-ranked gymnast Bridget Sloan, No. 4 Kytra Hunter and No. 10 Alaina Johnson. In the event rankings, the Razorbacks are for No. 11 on the vault, 16th on bars, 7th on the beam and 16th on the floor. In the individual rankings, Grable stands at the No. 12 spot on the vault, No. 7 on the beam and No. 4 on the floor. Also in the individual rankings, sophomore Sydnie Dillard is No. 12 on the beam. The Razorbacks return to action at top ranked Florida in Gainesville, Fla. on Friday, Feb. 14. The meet is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m and will be tape delayed for a TV broadcast on Feb. 22 at a time to be determined.
