FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas running back Broderick Green has been selected to participate in the Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game, which will be played Monday.
Green will play on the Stars roster following a senior season in which he tied for the team lead with five rushing touchdowns and tied for fourth among Razorbacks with 36 points scored. The Little Rock, Ark., native rushed 68 times for 260 yards and the five touchdowns and added one reception for a 10-yard touchdown while appearing in nine games after missing the first four contests of the season with an injury.
In his collegiate career, Green rushed 308 times for 1,235 yards and 22 touchdowns and caught 15 passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns. He is one of seven players in NCAA history, two from the SEC and the only Razorback, to record a 99-yard rush after running 99 yards to the end zone against Eastern Michigan in 2009.
