Hamlin Taken by Seahawks in Second Round of NF

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas free safety Ken Hamlin is now a member of the Seattle Seahawks after being drafted by the organization in the second round of of the National Football League Draft on Saturday.
Hamlin was the 42nd overall pick and the second free safety taken in the draft. The Memphis, Tenn., native declared himself eligible for the draft after completing his junior season at Arkansas last fall.
Hamlin leaves Arkansas as the Razorbacks’ career tackle leader with 381 tackles in his three-year tenure. He earned consensus All-SEC and honorable mention All-America honors last season.
No other Razorbacks were selected in the first three rounds. The draft concludes on Sunday with rounds four through seven.
