FAYETTEVILLE – After leading the Razorbacks to their third NCAA South Central Regional title in a row, head coach Lance Harter has been named the USTFCCCA South Central Region Coach of the Year, announced Tuesday. The Razorbacks scored 33 points in the meet to earn the largest margin of victory in the NCAA South Central Regional en route to the programs 18th regional title. All seven runners finished in the top 20, earning All-Region honors, and the top five all finished in the top 11 for the meet. Harter also led the Razorbacks to their 14th SEC Championship earlier this season, during the meet the seven Razorbacks finish in the top 25 for the meet including a 1-2-3 finish by Dominique Scott, Shannon Klenke and Grace Heymsfield. After the meet Harter was named the SEC Coach of the Year as well as Scott earning SEC Runner of the Year honors. This marks the seventh time that Harter has been named the USTFCCCA South Central Region Coach of the Year. The Razorbacks will return to the course for the final meet of the season on Saturday, Nov. 23, in Terre Haute Ind.
