Help Arkansas' Darren McFadden Earn a Vote for the Heisman Trophy

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — ESPN and Nissan are sponsoring a weekly poll to determine one official vote in this year’s Heisman Trophy race, and Arkansas tailback Darren McFadden is on the ballot.

The player with the most votes at the conclusion of the voting period will receive one official vote for this year’s Heisman.

McFadden has helped the Razorbacks reach No.5 in this week’s rankings by leading the Southeastern Conferenceand ranking seventh in the nation with121.9 yards per game. He hassix 100-yard rushing games this season and 11 in his 21-game career.

The sophomore had181 yards and two touchdowns on30 carries in last week’s31-14 victory over then-No. 13 Tennessee.He has 1,219 yards and 12 touchdowns this year after running for 1,113 last season.

Arkansas, which has wonnine straight games, is 9-1 overall and is the only undefeated team in SEC play at 6-0.

“As the presenting sponsor for the Heisman Trophy, Nissan has the privilege of casting one official vote for the winner of the Heisman Trophy. We represent the voice of the football fan through, "TheHeismanVote.com." The winning athlete of the public’s vote will receive one vote in the official Heisman Trophy selection process. Heisman Trophy Winners are determined by votes from 924 electors representing sportswriters and broadcasters.

“Throughout the college football season, you’ll be able to vote once per weekly voting period (Monday 2:00pm EST- Monday 1:59 pm EST).
