FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas tight end Hunter Henry has been named to the John Mackey Award Midseason Watch List, which was released Tuesday.
Henry is one of two freshmen and one of three from the SEC included on the list of the top 29 tight ends in the country. The true freshman from Little Rock, Ark., is the only tight end in the SEC with a 100-yard receiving game this season, a mark he topped with a 109-yard performance vs. No. 10 Texas A&M. He ranks second on the team with 14 catches for 276 yards and has added one touchdown. His receiving yards total is the most among freshmen tight ends in the country and ranks sixth among tight ends overall. His 19.7 yards-per-catch average is fourth in the SEC.
