FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s tennis team found out its postseason fate Tuesday afternoon after being selected to the Fort Worth Regional with a first round match-up against the Florida State Seminoles (17-11, 6-6 ACC) on Friday, May 12 at 11 a.m. CT at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

Making consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances for the first time in 14 seasons, Arkansas (16-12, 6-6 SEC) heads into championship play victors of eight of its last 12 dual matches. Last year, the Razorbacks were sent to the Stillwater Regional where they defeated the Wichita State Shockers 4-2 in the first round, before falling to the host school Oklahoma State Cowboys 4-0 in the round of 32.

The other two schools in this year’s Fort Worth Regional are the host school TCU Horned Frogs and the Jackson State Tigers.

Earning its 19th postseason bid, Arkansas holds a 13-18 all-time record in the NCAA Tournament, reaching the Sweet 16 five times – 1980, 81, 83, 86, 04. Andy Jackson is making his 24th NCAA Tournament appearance in his 33rd year as a head coach, having advanced to at least the Sweet 16 in 20 of his previous 23 showings.

After going 20-9 a year ago, Jackson has taken Arkansas to back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since the Razorbacks went 16-10 in 2001 and 15-10 in 2002. The Razorbacks are coming off their third SEC Tournament win in program history and the first since 2006, after defeating the LSU Tigers 4-2.

Seniors Mike Redlicki and Jose Salazar finished the regular season ranked as the No. 3 doubles pairing in the country. The duo wrapped up the season ranked in the top 60 for the final six rankings. Individually, Redlicki heads into championship play ranked as the No. 10 singles player in the country, while Salazar comes in at No. 34.

Tickets to the first and second-round matches can be purchased in advance by calling the TCU ticket office at 817-257-3764. Tickets also will be available for purchase on match days at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center beginning one hour before match time.
