Hogs Finish Eleventh at SEC Championships
KILLEN, Ala, — Arkansas finished in 11th place after shooting a 308 on the final day of Southeastern Conference Golf Championship.

Georgia’s men’s golf squad shot a final round 288 and held off second-place Auburn to capture the Southeastern Conference Men’s Golf Championship, held Friday through Sunday at Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club. Georgia’s team total of 852 outlasted Auburn’s 854 for the title. The Tigers shot a final round 281 to cut the back from nine after the second day to the two-shot margin.

Auburn’s Roland Thatcher shot a final round 68 to win individual medalist honors. Thatcher had a three round score of 208.

Junior Craig Lile shot a final round of 73 to finish the tourney at a 7-over par 223, which places him in a tie for 24th.

Ryan Blagg faltered a little bit in the final round of 82 falling to a tie for 52nd. Blagg shot prior rounds of 75 and 75. Beau Galyean and Ed McSpadden tied at 55th for the tournament shooting a 235. Jay Houk finished in a tie for 80th. He rallied in the final round shooting a 1-over par 73.
