Hogs Host Vols on Senior Day

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- The Arkansas volleyball team will host No. 22 Tennessee Sunday afternoon in the team’s final home match of the season. Prior to first serve, three Razorbacks will be recognized as part of senior day festivities.

All-Time Series vs Tennessee

Sunday’s match against the Volunteers will be the 41st meeting between the teams, with the series even at 20 all. This is the second match for the two teams this year, with Tennessee earning a 3-2 victory at home in September.

Last Time Out

The Razorbacks fell to No. 11 Kentucky Wednesday night, with the Wildcats earning a straight-set win. Junior Rea­gan Robinson led the team in kills with 11, while Rachel Rippee recorded 17 assists.

Where They Rank

With three matches left in SEC play, the Hogs sit in ninth place in the conference standings. Sophomore Hailey Dirrigl comes in at No. 7 in kills/set, averaging 3.60 with 292 this season. Junior Rachel Rippee is seventh with 8.28 assists/set, recording 720 in 24 matches. Freshman Lauren Evans’ 0.34 aces/set are sixth in the SEC while senior Okiana Valle is at the top of the league with 5.09 digs/set.

Senior Day

Sunday’s match will be the final home match for three Razorbacks, with Fernanda Guitron, Kelly O’Brien, and Okiana Valle all being recognized prior to first serve. Valle will end her career in Cardinal and White as the second-all time in career digs, while O’Brien has recorded over 350 kills and Guitron has made over 400 attempts.

First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. The match will be streamed on SEC Network+.
