Hogs Sit in Ninth after Day One of Louisiana C

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas golf squad sits in ninth place after round one of the Louisiana Classics Golf Tournament at Oakburne Country Club in Lafayette, La. Two rounds were supposed to be played on Monday but the second round was cancelled because of rain. The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday.
The Razorbacks combined total was 299, 11-over par, and are 20 strokes behind the tournament leading team Tennessee who shot 279 and are nine-under par.
The Hogs are once again led by senior Craig Lile who is tied for 17th place and was even for the day at 72 (37-35). Lile has led the Razorbacks in every tournament this season and is only five strokes off of the lead. If Lile could come back and move into first place on Tuesday, he would claim his fourth tournament title of the year.
Rounding out the Hogs lineup are Adam Wing tied for 27th at 74 (37-35), Kyle Vance tied for 37th at 75 (38-37), Beau Galyean tied for 64th at 78 (37-41) and Drew Higginbothom tied in 70th at 80 (39-41).
The Louisiana Classics Golf Tournament will conclude on Tuesday with the final round starting at 7:30 a.m. CST.
