Hogs hold in top 20

FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas swim and dive team remains in the top 20 national rankings at No. 19 according to the latest College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) poll, released Wednesday.

The Razorbacks took a month long break from competition while the swim team had its week-long winter training trip in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and the divers spent a week at the Olympic Training Center in Indianapolis, Ind.

Arkansas (6-2, 2-1) heads to Kansas for the first dual of the New Year on Thursday Jan. 13. Kansas held off 23rd-ranked LSU as well as Vanderbilt this past week to bring their dual record to 6-4 this season.

Stanford remains in the top spot while Georgia sits second in the country and Florida remains in sixth.

The next CSCAA poll is scheduled to be released on Feb. 17.
