Hogs remain No.18 in CSCAA rankings

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas women’s swimming and diving team remains ranked 18th in the College Swimming Coaches Association of America’s Division I Coaches poll, released Monday.

The Razorbacks have a dual record of 4-1 (2-1 Southeastern Conference) including victories over Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Kansas. The Hogs have completed their fall schedule and return to action with a home meet, Jan. 9, against North Texas.

Georgia is the top ranked women’s team followed by Arizona, Stanford, Texas and California.

As a whole, the SEC earned six of the top 25 spots in the polls with Florida at No. 7, Auburn at No. 8, Tennessee at No. 13 and LSU at No. 21. Alabama, Kentucky and South Carolina also received votes.

The CSCAA rankings are based on each team’s best dual meet lineup as judged by voting coaches. Rankings will be announced four times. This first time coaches used this method for its Division I poll.
