KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The No. 65 ranked University of Arkansas men’s tennis team (4-9, 0-4 SEC) travels to Knoxville to play the No. 1 ranked Tennessee Volunteers.
The Hogs recently picked up their fourth win of the season against the Wichita State
Shockers on Wednesday. Chris Nott won his third straight match at the No. 1 position when he defeated Vlad Marinescu 6-2, 6-3.
“The Hogs gave great effort against Wichita State,” said head coach Robert Cox. “I’m really proud of them, it was definitely a good win for us.”
The Volunteers are undefeated in SEC play with a 4-0 record and 14-2 on the season overall. They are returning home after three matches on the road against conference foes Vanderbilt and Kentucky, and their final non-conference match against Baylor.
