Internet issues cause troubles with audio

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Today’s South Carolina game did not properly stream due to technical difficulties, assistant athletic director for new media Bill Smith said today.

"We are currently looking into what caused the crossing of streams that forced may Razorback fans to be unable to hear today’s game from South Carolina," Smith said. "We will strive to correct the problem as soon as possible."

The service provider for the website had technical problems early in the afternoon which first effected the audio stream of the Razorback Sports Network — along with many other universities — which led to problems with the main website. The problems have been resolved as of 4:30 p.m. central time.

"The ArkansasRazorbacks.com staff apologizes for the inconvenience of our fans," Smith said. "We have noticed that there are problems with several sites around the country today."

If archive copies of the audio from today’s game become available, RazorVision will make the replay available to all for free.
