Jackson, Johnson Join On The Air With Bret Bielema

FAYETTEVILLE, Ala. – “On the Air with Bret Bielema,” Coach Bielema’s weekly radio show presented by AT&T and West Rock Coffee Company, returns on Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the Catfish Hole.

This week’s show will feature junior fullback Kendrick Jackson and sophomore fullback/tight end Hayden Johnson as the Razorbacks prepare for Saturday’s game against No. 1 Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

Jackson, from Haynesville, Louisiana, has played in 29 games with six starts since arriving in Fayetteville. Last season he helped block for Rawleigh Williams III, who finished as the SEC regular-season rushing leader with 1,360 yards.

A native of Columbia, Missouri, Johnson has played in 17 of a possible 18 games since arriving to Fayetteville and started seven of those contests as a freshman last season. Johnson has caught three passes for 34 yards during his career and also helped block for Williams’ 1,000-yard rushing effort in 2016.

Live from the Catfish Hole for the ninth straight year, Chuck Barrett, the voice of the Razorbacks, will host Coach Bielema on the one-hour show. Fans can make reservations to attend the show by calling the Catfish Hole at 479-521-7008. Tickets are $25 and include an all you can eat dinner buffet with catfish, shrimp and chicken.

The show will be carried throughout the state of Arkansas on the Razorback Sports Network and locally in Fayetteville on 99.5 FM, 92.1 FM and 93.3 FM.

Kickoff on Saturday is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on ESPN with Chris Fowler (play-by-play), Kirk Herbstreit (analyst) and Maria Taylor (reporter) on the call.
