FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas senior catcher Jake Wise recently visited with RazorVision to discuss how his rehab from Tommy John surgery is going and also recap the fall practice season. Wise said that his rehab from Tommy John surgery, which he underwent in June, is progressing well. “I feel great,” Wise said. “I’m throwing 180 feet this week. It’s a long process. I’m just trying to get ahead of schedule so I can be ready for the season. I haven’t had any setbacks. Everything is on schedule, maybe a little ahead of schedule, so I’m excited about it.” Wise also spoke about what he worked on during the team’s fall practice season. “Mostly, I was working on the offensive part of my game because that’s my biggest weakness,” Wise said. “I caught one or two games, but couldn’t really throw much so I was mainly working on offense.” The Razorbacks open the 2014 season on Friday, Feb. 14, at 3:05 p.m. against Appalachian State. The season opener vs. Appalachian State is one of 35 home games at Baum Stadium during the 2014 season.
