Kaluder captures third-place honors at SEC fall tournament

ATHENS, Ga. – Arkansas’ top singles player Ela Kaluder won the third-place title of the singles A flight at the Southeastern Conference Coaches’ Fall Classic to close out the fall season for the Lady Razorback tennis team.

“Ela’s win is a great way to end the fall competition,” UA head coach Michael Hegarty said. “This was a great overall finish for the team, and it wraps up the fall season with our top player finishing this strong.”

Kaluder rallied from an opening set loss to defeat Auburn’s Fani Chifchiefa in three, 2-6, 6-2, 6-1.

Arkansas also picked up a win in the D flight consolation bracket as Melissa Hoffmeister defeated Heather Bybee of Auburn, 6-0, 6-1.
