BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – University of Arkansas freshman Jordy LaBarbera moved on to the semifinals of second flight match play at the WWGA 115th National Amateur Championship in Brentwood, Tenn., Thursday.
LaBarbera, an Allen, Texas, native, defeated Haylee Harford of Leavittsburg, Ohio, 3 and 2 to move on to the semifinals. She faces Hanna Lee of Cincinnati, Ohio, Friday morning. If she wins, LaBarbara faces the winner of the Josee Doyon/Rachel Johnson match for the second flight title.
LaBarbera played in 13 rounds during her freshman season with the Razorbacks averaging 76.31 in her first year. She had one top-10 finish with a career-best round of 70.
