Landry Tied for Fourth After Day One of All-America Golf Classic

EL PASO, Texas – After 36 holes at the Western Refining College All-America Golf Classic, Razorback Andrew Landry has a share of fourth place heading into Tuesday’s final round. He fired a six-under-par 136 over the first two rounds and is within three shots of the event leader, Aaron Goldberg of San Diego State.

Landry opened with a first-round 67 that included six birdies. In the second round, the junior from Port Neches, Texas birdied five of the first seven holes on the back nine and finished the round with a 2-under 69.

The field at the annual invitational event features 28 of the top collegiate golfers in the nation. Landry is the 11th Razorback to compete at the Golf Classic. He heads into the final 18 holes of play tied with Georgia Tech’s Chesson Hadley.

Landry will tee off Tuesday at9:24 a.m.CT from the par-71, 6,837-yard course at the El Paso Country Club.
