FAYETTEVILLE – University of Arkansas senior Stacy Lewis carded a five-over 76 and clings to a tie for the lead at the UA Ann Rhoads Intercollegiate in Tuscaloosa, Ala., Saturday.

Lewis paced the sixth-ranked Lady’Backs who remain in first place after two rounds of play holding a one-stroke lead. Arkansas posted a 300 on the par 71 course for a 595 (295-300) just ahead of No. 38 Louisville who is second at 596 (297-299).

“Stacy struggled with her ball striking today,” said Arkansas head coach Shauna Estes. “She missed a few putts coming in but she is still in contention to win the event.”

Freshman Kelli Shean went low for Arkansas carding a 71 and moved up into a tie for 25th overall with 151 (80-71). Junior Lucy Nunn is tied for 31st overall with a 152 (75-77), followed by sophomores Kristin Ingram (77-76=153) and Alex Schulte (75-80=155).
