Lewis remains in the black at the JFOCC

TOLEDO, Ohio – Former University of Arkansas women’s golfer Stacy Lewis shot a third round 70 and remains in the top 10 after three rounds of play at the 2008 Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic at Highland Meadows Golf Club near Toledo, Ohio, Saturday. Lewis is tied for ninth place with a 205 (70-66-69) after making the tournament cut for the second consecutive year. Lewis, who is playing on a sponsor’s exemption along with Michelle Wie, didn’t let the hour and three minute weather delay slow her play finishing the day two under on the front and even for the back nine. Lewis and the rest of the field wrap up play Sunday. The Woodlands, Texas, native tees off at 11:27 a.m. with Katie Futcher and Mornoko Ueda from the first tee. Final round television coverage is available on ESPN2 from 5-7 p.m.
