Lewis scales the leader board

TOLEDO, Ohio — Former University of Arkansas women’s golfer Stacy Lewis fired a five-under 66 moving up to a tie for fifth place at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic in Toledo, Ohio, Friday.

Lewis opened play Thursday with one-under 70 but went lower Friday with five birdies and no bogeys in the second round. The Woodlands, Texas, native moved up the leaderboard and trails Paula Creamer who is 17-under for two rounds. Creamer opened with an 11-under 60 followed by a 65 Friday for 125.

Eun-Hee Ji is second with a 131, followed by H.J. Choi and Rachel Heterington who are tied for third with 135.

Coverage of the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic is available on ESPN2 throughout the weekend.
