Lewis tied for third

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Former University of Arkansas women’s golfer Stacy Lewis continues to play well and is tied for third after three rounds of the LPGA Qualifying School in Daytona Beach, Fla., Friday.

Lewis fired a third-round, one-under 72 on the Legends course and is tied for third with a 206 (69-66-71). She trails Mollie Fankhauser (67-71-66) and Shiho Oyama (64-70-71) by one stroke. The Woodlands, Texas, native is tied with Michelle Wie (69-65-72) and the duo are two strokes up on Amy Yang (67-71-70) and Charlotte Mayorkas (75-67-66) who are in the clubhouse with 208.

The five-day event will see the top 20 finishers earn their LPGA Tour cards.a
