Lewis tied for third at Harder Hall

FAYETTEVILLE – University of Arkansas senior golfer Stacy Lewis carded a first-round 74 Thursday at the 53rd Harder Hall Women’s Invitational in Sebring, Fla.

The Woodlands, Texas, native won the title in 2006 and stands tied for third place after cold temperatures in the 30s and blistery winds altered play on the par 72m 6,151-yard Harder Hall Country Club Course.

This year’s field has 100 entrants in the Championship Division including 46 collegiate players. The format features 72-hole stroke play that is flighted after the second round. The lowest 36 scores advance to the championship flight.

Arizona State’s Allison Walshe cared an even par 72 to lead after the first round. UCLA’s Tiffany Joh was second with a 73 followed by Lewis and Pepperdine’s Taylore Karle tied for third with 74.
