PARKER, Colo. — Former University of Arkansas women’s golfer Stacy Lewis helped lead a charge for Team USA in Solheim Cup action Saturday from Parker, Colo. Down big after the first round, Team USA closed the gap, 5.5-6.5, before the afternoon rounds on Saturday. Lewis dropped her first round match in four-ball play on Friday, teaming with Lizette Salas for the victory.& The duo trailed for much of the match. She paired with Paula Creamer in the Saturday morning match and wpm 1-up over Azahara Munoz and Karine Icher.& Lewis and Creamer went one up on the third hole and held the lead through the 13th hole.& Munoz and Icher squared the match on the 14th hole but Team USA got the lead back on the 15th and held it on the 16th hole.& Munoz and Icher squared the match for the second time on the 17th hole but Lewis and Creamer won the 18th to take the match.
