Liz Murphey delayed

ATHENS, Ga. — Heavy rain in the south have put the first round of the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic on hold in Athens, Ga., this morning. The 19th-ranked Arkansas women’s golf team was scheduled for a 9 a.m. tee time but tournament officials have cleared the golf course and are hoping for a 2 p.m. shotgun start today. If play cannot begin today, teams will try and play two rounds Saturday with the final round Sunday. "This is part of golf," said Arkansas head coach Shauna Estes-Taylor. "We’re just relaxing and trying to stay loose so we’re ready for anything."
