While the Razorbacks’ swim and dive team is brought together by the pool, water is also what separated some of the athletes prior to coming to Arkansas. This team has traveled from all over the world to compete as the 2010-11 Razorbacks. Sophomore Sigrun Sverrisdottir and junior Liana Bugslag are the Razorbacks that have come from farthest apart; more than 4,000 miles. Sverrisdottir is from Reykjavik, Iceland, while Bugslag joined the Razorbacks from Victoria Canada.

Other freshmen who have journeyed from across the U.S. and Canada to aid in the Hogs success include Carly Mercer and Molly Milborn who are both from Fishers, Ind., and attended school with Aubrey Hertzler of Noblesville, Ind. Julia Kucherich and Nicole Menzel each joined the Razorbacks from Pennsylvania and South Carolina, respectively. Amee Peña is from Oklahoma, Alexandria Sutton is Pompano Beach, Fla. while Liz Braun begins her first year at UA from Marietta, Ga. Freshman Kesha Naylor joined the Razorback divers from Saskatchewan, Canada.
