Mascall Strode Earn ITA Regional Singles Rankings

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Colin Mascall and Blake Strode have earned ITA regional singles rankings, it was announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Wednesday.

Strode, potentially the Hogs No. 1 player this spring, is No. 4 in the central region after earning a ranking of No. 96 in the ITA national preseason rankings. The St. Louis, Mo. native is also the highest-ranked SEC player in the central region. Strode posted a 9-3 record this fall and advanced to the semifinals of the ITA Central Regional Championships. En route, he upset No. 11 Daniel Byrnes of Oklahoma State, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6, in the quarterfinals of the event.

Mascall, a junior, is seated 27th in the central region. The British Columbia native notched a 4-5 record in singles play this fall.

The duo is also ranked No. 7 in the ITA central doubles rankings. They are also the highest-ranked SEC pair.
