ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of Arkansas men’s track and field team sent a small contingent to Albuquerque over the weekend to compete at the New Mexico Invitational.
Nathanael Franks and Larry Donald competed in the 60-meter hurdles, both setting personal records. Franks took down his previous PR of 8.73 with a time of 8.65. Donald held a previous personal record of 8.13 which he broke Saturday in the finals with a time of 7.98, which ranks sixth all-time at Arkansas.
Neil Braddy tied his personal best 200-meter time of 21.24, finishing third. Andrew Pisechko earned a fourth-place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:50.64. Travis Southard’s 400-meter time of 47.57 earned the senior a fifth-place finish. Anthony May finished second in the high jump with a mark of 6-11.75. Sophomore Ken LeGassey recorded an identical mark.
Devin Randall recorded a mark of 57-11.75 in the shot put, finishing eighth. Clive Pullen finished third in the triple jump with a mark of 52-6.5 which ties for fifth-best in the NCAA this season.
The Razorbacks are back in action February 14-15 as Arkansas hosts the Tyson Invitational at Randal Tyson Track Center.
