Men host Razorback Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Razorback men’s track and field will continue the 2009 indoor season with the hosting of the Razorback Invitational, Jan. 23-24, at the Randal Tyson Track Center.

Alabama, Baylor, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Louisiana Tech, Mississippi State, North Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oral Roberts, Southern, TCU and Tulsa will be competing with the Hogs at the Randal Tyson Track Center on Friday.

Arkansas student-athletes currently hold the top marks in the SEC in the 800 meters (Dorian Ulrey), the high jump (Nate Durham) and the triple jump (Nkosinza Balumbu). Additionally, Razorbacks hold top three marks in two more events (800 meters, long jump).

Nationally, Balumbu is second in the triple jump and Daniel Quinn ranks 13th while freshman Tarik Batchelor is ranked fifth in the long jump.
