Men's track adds two for 2010-11

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas Razorback men’s track and field head coach Chris Bucknam has announced the addition of two more National Letter of Intent student-athletes for the 2010-11 season. Arkansas’ signing class now totals eight student-athletes.

"I really like how this recruiting class is shaping up," Bucknam said. "We have signed some outstanding student-athletes and competitors and Walter Henderson and Dey Tuach are no exception. Dey will provide some depth in the distance events and will add a boost to our cross country squad. Walter provides good range in the sprints and will help on our relays."

Walter Henderson is a native of Edmond, Okla. and competed for Santa Fe High School. He holds bests of 10.4 in the 100 meters and 21.3 in the 200 meters. He also lettered in football.

Dey Tuach will join the Razorbacks from Rend Lake College. He will compete in the middle distance and distance events on the track and compete in cross country during the fall season.

Henderson and Tuach join Neil Braddy (Fort Smith, Ark.; sprints), Auston Chen (Tampa, Florida; multi events), Sam Ewing (Glenwood, Ark.; pole vault), Dwayne Golbek (Claremore, Okla.; high jump), Noah Kittelson (Indianola, Iowa; high jump) and Kevin Lazas (Brentwood, Tenn.; multi events) in Arkansas’ 2010-11 signing class.
