Midweek Doubleheader vs UMKC at Bogle Park

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Winners of nine-straight games and owners of a 17-1 record, the Razorback softball team hosts UMKC for a Tuesday doubleheader at Bogle Park. First pitch of the twin bill is scheduled for 3 p.m. (CT). General admission is free for all home games. This marks the final outing before the start of Southeastern Conference play.

Series vs UMKC
Arkansas carries a 10-2 advantage in the all-time series with UMKC and has won nine of 11 games played in Fayetteville. The teams last played a doubleheader in the 2009 season, a sweep by the Razorbacks in the first year of Bogle Park. The team has won four of the last five meetings dating back to 2012.

Last Time Out
The Razorbacks capped an undefeated home weekend with an 8-1 win over IUPUI. Junior A.J. Belans (3-for-4) was one of four Arkansas players with multi-hit efforts in the game. Freshman Autumn Storms pitched six innings on the way to a third win of the home-opening Wooo Pig Classic.

SEC Player of the Week, Pt. 2
In leading Arkansas to a 6-0 mark during the week, senior Nicole Schroeder was selected SEC Player of the Week for the second time this season. She hit .632 (12-for-19) with five home runs including two grand slams with eight runs scored and 16 RBI. Schroeder is the first Razorback since Devon Wallace in 2013 to win multiple conference player of the week honors.

Touch ‘Em All
Through four weekends of the 2017 campaign, Arkansas leads the nation with 31 home runs while ranking third in slugging percentage (.622), seventh in runs per game (7.83) and ninth in team batting average (.356). The team also ranks among the top 20 in ERA (15th/1.31) and on-base percentage (17th/.432). Individually, Nicole Schroeder is No. 1 in the NCAA with 12 home runs, 38 RBI and 73 total bases.

Welcome to Bogle Park
Fans of college softball have spoken and Bogle Park was voted the No. 4 stadium in the poll conducted by FloSoftball, and second among SEC parks trailing only Rhoads Stadium (Alabama). This is the ninth season with Bogle Park as Arkansas’ home field.
