NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Arkansas tennis team couldn’t get anything going at No. 13 Vanderbilt on Friday and the 24th-ranked Razorbacks were blanked, 7-0. The loss is just the third of the year in 13 matches for Arkansas, but it doesn’t get any easier with a 1 p.m. match Sunday at No. 18 Kentucky. “We just got whipped,” head coach Robert Cox said. “We were just a little bit off. We didn’t have any snap in us. In singles, we played average at best. We were a step slow and Vanderbilt was too solid for us. We have to regroup and get ready for Kentucky on Sunday.” Nathan Price and Matt Roberts were the closest thing to a bright spot the Razorbacks had on Friday. Each lost in a 10-point tiebreaker. Price, ranked No. 54 in the nation, fell to 24-8 with the loss while Roberts is now 13-8. Adrians Zguns, ranked eighth in the country, also lost, falling to 26-6.
