Last weekend saw the Razorbacks post several solid performances at the Arkansas Invitational, including an NCAA-leading jump by Clive Pullen of 16.66m/54-8 in the triple jump. Arkansas will look to carry that momentum into this weekend’s performances and pick up additional NCAA top marks.

Eleven Razorbacks will take on the mile this weekend, including All-American cross country runners Jack Bruce and Frankline Tonui. The race will be Bruce and Tonui’s first competition since the 2016 NCAA Cross Country Championship last November which saw Bruce earn his second career All-America honor in the sport.

The 400-meter dash should also prove an event to watch, featuring quarter-mile talents Obi Igbokwe and Eric Janise as well as five other Razorbacks with the potential to post top times.

“We were able to get in a nice pre-meet in tonight and workout some of the guys that aren’t competing until Saturday,” head coach Chris Bucknam said. “It’s a very nice facility [Vanderbilt Multipurpose Facility] and we’re looking forward to the meet this weekend and continuing to press on.”

Ken LeGassey and Brendon Rivera will be the first Hogs to compete on Friday, taking on the men’s high jump at 4 p.m. Razorback fans can follow along through the live results.
