FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — This weekend, the Hogs will host Oklahoma and Tulsa on Friday and Sunday, respectively, at the Dills Indoor Facility in their final home matches before SEC play begins in March. After accumulating three straight wins against SMU, Iowa and Santa Clara, the Razorbacks have moved up 12 spots in the ITA Rankings to No. 59, and are about to face their strongest competition so far this season.

“We had a very successful weekend and great doubles play,” said head coach Robert Cox. “It’s the first time in a while that we’ve had doubles teams that are as consistent as they are right now.”

The Hogs will first meet No. 21 Oklahoma on Friday at 5:30 p.m. Oklahoma has a record of 3-2, losing to No. 36 Notre Dame and No. 13 Louisville. The Sooners include three ranked singles players, as well as one ranked doubles pair.

Tulsa is currently 5-3 for the season, falling to three teams that were ranked in the top 20. The Hurricanes are also comprised of four individually ranked players and two ranked doubles teams. The Razorbacks will face Tulsa on Sunday at 1 p.m.

“We are going to have to keep to playing good doubles to get the win against our next two opponents,” said Cox. “Everyone is healthy, playing well and ready to go.”
