October Prospect And Hitting Camps Coming Up

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas baseball head coach Dave Van Horn and his staff will host two different camps over five separate days in October.

One camp will be a high school prospect camp for players entering ninth grade or higher and will be held Saturday, Oct. 29 in Baum Stadium. This camp will be run by the Razorback coaching staff and will consist of an instructional workout followed by a live game inside Baum Stadium. It will begin at 8:30 a.m. and lunch will be provided.

Traditionally, this camp has been highly successful as many of its former camp attendees have gone on to Major League careers, such as Logan Forsythe, Drew Smyly and Brett Eibner.

The Arkansas Razorbacks will also be offering a specialized hitting academy for players ages 6-16 for the first time. The academy will consist of four Monday night sessions, running from Monday, Oct. 3 through Monday, Oct. 24 in Baum Stadium and the Fowler Indoor Center. The sessions will consist of individualized instruction, group work and competition. Each session will begin at 6:30 p.m.

All camp information including sign up and medical waivers can be found at ArkansasBaseballCamp.com.
