FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – “On the Air with Bret Bielema,” Coach Bielema’s weekly radio show presented by AT&T and Lindsey, returns on Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the Catfish Hole in Fayetteville. The sixth episode of the season will feature senior defensive lineman Mitchell Loewen and senior long snapper Drew Gorton.
Chuck Barrett, the voice of the Razorbacks, will host head coach Bret Bielema while fans can make reservations to attend the shows by calling the Catfish Hole at 479-521-7008. Tickets are $25 and include all you can eat dinner buffet with catfish, shrimp and chicken.
Loewen recorded a half of a sack in last Saturday’s showdown against Texas A&M at AT&T Stadium in Arlington and is fourth amongst Arkansas defensive lineman with seven tackles on the year. The half of a sack was the second of Loewen’s career, as the Hawai’i native is in just his second season on the defensive side of the ball after playing tight end as a freshman and sophomore. A native of Fayetteville, Gorton is the team’s starting long snapper on punts and field goals.
The show will be carried throughout the state of Arkansas on the Razorback Sports Network and locally in Fayetteville on 92.1 FM and 93.3 FM.
Arkansas will make its first trip to Knoxville since 2007 on Saturday when it takes on Tennessee. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN2 starting at 6 p.m. CT.
