This is the 14th of 20 preseason features highlighting each student-athlete on the University of Arkansas volleyball team. Each day a different Razorback will draw and answer seven (out of a 15) get-to-know-you questions to give the fans a peek into their personality away from the volleyball court. The 2014 season begins Aug. 29 against Tennessee State at 7 p.m. (CT) at Barnhill Arena. Click HERE to purchase season tickets.
Day 14 (Friday, August 22, 2014):
Sophomore | S | 6-0
Conroe, Texas (Conroe)
Q: What’s the most interesting/funniest account you follow on Twitter?
Wohlschlaeger: Probably my sisters. My sister (Rebekah) is the funniest person I know and I never know what’s going to come out of her mouth but it’s always good.
Q: Other than volleyball, what sport would you want to compete in at the Olympics (summer or winter)?
Wohlschlaeger: I get mistaken for a track athlete. I’m not sure why and I’ve never run track but maybe I have the body type for it.
Q: Would you rather go to a movie OR dinner by yourself?
Wohlschlaeger: Definitely a movie. I always feel awkward when I see people at a restaurant eating alone.
Q: If you could teach a class on any topic, what would it be?
Wohlschlaeger: I guess volleyball would be the obvious answer or I could teach organization skills.
Q: What was your favorite sports team growing up?
Wohlschlaeger: We went to a lot of (Houston) Astros’ games because it was a fun thing to do with friends but I wasn’t really a big fan. I didn’t get into a lot of the pro teams.
Q: What movie do you know every line of dialogue?
Wohlschlaeger: Talladega Nights, for sure.
Q: It’s match point, do you want to win with a monster kill or huge block?
Wohlschlaeger: Definitely a block. It’s fun for the whole team and affects the other team’s attacker, too.
