#ProHogs Locked In Heated First Round Matchups

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – All three former Razorbacks in the NBA are in heated first round playoff matchups as Joe Johnson and Bobby Portis are in 2-2 series ties, while Patrick Beverley’s Rockets have a 3-1 lead on the Thunder.

PATRICK BEVERLEY – ROCKETS LEAD THUNDER, 3-1
Beverley and the Houston Rockets take a commanding 3-1 series back to Houston looking to wrap up the series Tuesday at 7 p.m. CT on TNT. After Houston swept the first two games of the series at the Toyota Center, the Thunder came back and took game three at home, before the Rockets battled back with a 113-109 victory in game four. Beverley is averaging 10.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game during the series.

JOE JOHNSON – JAZZ AND CLIPPERS TIED, 2-2
Johnson continues to put the Jazz on his back as he helped Utah tie up the series with the Clippers Sunday night with 28 points, five rebounds and five assists, including 11 consecutive points during the fourth quarter. He has scored in double digits in all four playoff games and is averaging 19.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game during the series. The first-round matchup shifts back to Los Angeles Tuesday evening for an all-important game five at the Staples Center. Tip-off is set for 9:30 p.m. CT on TNT.

BOBBY PORTIS – BULLS AND CELTICS TIED, 2-2
Life on the road has been beneficial in this series, as the Bulls grabbed the first two games of the series in Boston Garden, before the Celtics quickly picked up back-to-back wins in Chicago to even the first-round matchup. In his first career playoff series, Portis is averaging 8.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and is shooting .636 from the field. Game five of the series shifts back to Boston on Wednesday at a time yet to be determined by the league.
