#ProHogs Preview: Week 8
Below are three NFL games to watch in Week 8 featuring #ProHogs.
Miami Dolphins at Baltimore Ravens | Thursday, Oct. 26 | 7:25 PM | CBS
Ravens running back Alex Collins looks to continue his impressive first year in Baltimore. Of all NFL running backs with at least 40 attempts this season, Collins leads in yards per carry at 5.9 per touch, rushing for 365 yards on 62 carries. Collins will have his work cut out for him this weekend though, as Miami’s defense ranks fifth in the league in yards per rush, allowing just 3.6 yards per attempt. Collins has four 20-yard rushes, tied for the second-most in the NFL.
Here is a feel-good story on how Collins not only applies Irish dancing to football and his NFL success, but also how he is helping others.

Los Angeles Chargers at New England Patriots | Sunday, Oct. 29 | 12:00 PM | CBS
The Chargers-Patriots showdown Sunday features a match-up of four former Razorbacks, two on each side, as Patriots’ Deatrich Wise and Trey Flowers play host to Hunter Henry and Darius Philon of the Chargers.
Flowers leads Patriot defensive linemen in total tackles with 33, tied for fourth among all defensive linemen in the NFL. He is also tied for the team-lead in sacks with 3.5. Wise recorded the first two starts of his career over the last two weeks. Wise ranks tied for seventh among rookie defensive linemen in tackles this season with 11 and third in sacks with 3.0. Wise and Flowers combine for 6.5 of the Patriots 15.0 sacks this season. They also combine for 24 of the Pats 40 quarterback hits with 12 apiece. No other Patriot has more than five.
For the Chargers, Hunter Henry continues to be Philip Rivers favorite tight end target. Last week, Henry pulled in four receptions for 73 yards to bring his total over the last three games to 12 receptions for 205 yards and one touchdown. 15 of his 21 receptions this season have resulted in a first down, ranking fourth among NFL tight ends with at least 10 receptions in first down percentage at 71.4 percent.
Even New England tight end Rob Gronkowski has high praise for Henry.
Why Gronk is a Fan of Hunter Henry
This season, the Patriot defense has given up the fifth-most receptions to tight ends with 37 over seven games for a total of 382 yards and five touchdowns.
Last week, Charger defensive lineman Darius Philon recorded his first start of the season, totaling two tackles to bring his season total to 15.
Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs | Monday, Oct. 30 | 7:30 PM | ESPN
Derby leads all Bronco tight ends with 190 yards on 15 receptions and one touchdown this season. Eight of his 15 receptions this season have resulted in a first down. Derby will be going against the Chiefs’ defense who ranks second to last in total yards to tight ends this season with 498 yards in seven games.
Roster Moves and Changes
Offensive tackle Dan Skipper was signed to the Lions’ active roster Thursday, after being on the practice squad since signing on Sept. 25.
Hogs On A Bye
Rams quarterback Brandon Allen and Giants defensive lineman Robert Thomas are the only two #ProHogs on a bye week.
