#ProHogs | Qualls Added to Thunder Roster

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Former Razorback basketball player Michael Qualls has been added to the Oklahoma City Thunder training camp roster, the NBA team announced this week.

Qualls was named to the All-SEC Second Team in 2015 after averaging 15.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. The high-flying guard threw down 38 dunks in 36 games last season, ending his three-year career at Arkansas with 91 slams and 13 appearances on SportsCenter’s #SCTop10.

As a junior, Qualls scored in double-figures 30 times, including a career-high 30 points in a 93-91 overtime win vs. Alabama. In his final game at Arkansas against North Carolina in the NCAA Tournament third round, the Shreveport, Louisiana, native posted his first-career double-double with 27 points and 10 rebounds.

The Thunder’s current roster stands at 19 players leading into their first preseason game on Wednesday, Oct. 7. Oklahoma City has six preseason games before the team’s regular season opener vs. the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
