#ProHogs Report - Week 2

Eleven #ProHogs saw action in Week 2 of the NFL season while Trey Flowers (New England), Chris Gragg (Buffalo) and Martrell Spaight (Washington) were all inactive.

In the nationally televised Thursday night game, Kansas City running back Knile Davis rushed three times for nine yards and a touchdown. He also returned one kickoff for 21 yards. His touchdown came with 2:32 left in the fourth quarter and gave the Chiefs a 24-17 lead. But Denver quickly responded with a touchdown of its own. On the very next drive, Denver returned a fumble for a touchdown and went on to win 31-24.

Ryan Mallett, who won the job at starting quarterback with Houston last week, was 27-of-58 for 244 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Texans’ 24-17 loss to Carolina.

Travis Swanson started at center for Detroit, while Minnesota wide receiver Jarius Wright caught one pass for 17 yards and rushed once for 29 yards in the Vikings’ 26-16 win over the Lions.

After recording one quarterback hurry last week, Chargers defensive end Darius Philon recorded two tackles including 1.0 for loss in San Diego’s 24-19 loss to Cincinnati.

For Jacksonville, defensive end Chris Smith tallied two tackles in the Jaguars’ 23-20 win over Miami.

Cowboys running back Darren McFadden saw an increase in snaps this week, rushing 10 times for 31 yards. McFadden also had two grabs for 21 yards in Dallas’ 20-10 win over Philadelphia. For the Eagles, Jason Peters got the start at left tackle.

Alvin Bailey participated on the offensive line for Seattle and Brett Goode participated at long snapper for Green Bay in the Packers’ 27-17 win over the Seahawks.

New Orleans kicker Zach Hocker was unsuccessful on his only field goal attempt, a 42-yarder, in the Saints’ 26-19 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
