#ProHogs Week 3 Schedule

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The NFL season continues starting Thursday night as Week 3 gets underway with a prime time matchup between the Houston Texans and the New England Patriots. Both the Texans and Patriots are 2-0 on the year and the game will feature two former Razorbacks in tight end AJ Derby and defensive end Trey Flowers.

Both Derby and Flowers are on the Patriots roster after having strong preseasons and are two of the 18 former Razorbacks that will be in action this week across the NFL.

Thursday’s matchup will kick off at 7:25 CT on CBS and the NFL Network live from Gillette Stadium. It is also the second of 10 games that will be streamed on Twitter this season.

Flowers is coming off a strong Week 2 performance against the Miami Dolphins, where he came up with his first career fumble recovery to go along with one tackle. The recovery led to a Patriots touchdown on the ensuing possession and a 31-24 win.

#ProHogs To Watch In Week 3

Hunter Henry – TE San Diego Chargers
Henry is starting to see his production go up after two weeks with the Chargers. Last week against Jacksonville, the Little Rock native made his first career start at tight end and saw 39 snaps on offense, eight on special teams. Henry didn’t have any targets his way, but his blocking ability is starting to show. Against the Jaguars, running back Melvin Gordon racked up 102 yards on the ground with one touchdown, most of those touches occurring with Henry on the field.

Darius Philon – DE San Diego Chargers
Philon made the first start of his career last week as well. Benefitting from some early season injuries, Philon has made a move up the depth chart and looks to be a primary player on the line in the early parts of the season. Last week against the Jaguars, Philon recorded his first quarterback hurry of the season and finished with 38 snaps on defense. The Chargers will travel to Indianapolis to face the Colts on Sunday at 3:25 p.m. on CBS.

Jason Peters – OT Philadelphia Eagles
It’s been a banner first couple of weeks for the Philadelphia Eagles and former Hog tight end Jason Peters has been right in the middle of it. In the midst of his 13th season in the NFL, Peters has played every down of the season so far on offense and has helped protect quarterback Carson Wentz to leading the Eagles to a 2-0 start. So far this year, Wentz has thrown for 468 yards and three touchdowns with wins over the Cleveland Browns and the Chicago Bears. Peters and the Eagles take on the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0) late Sunday afternoon at 3:25 p.m. on CBS.
