FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas’ gymnastics team closes its regular-season home schedule on Friday and promotions are set for the 7 p.m. meet against No. 18 Minnesota.
Due to construction around Barnhill Arena, parking is available in the following areas – Lot 44, immediately north of the Broyles Athletic Center, Lot 73 at the corner of Razorback Road and Markham and the Stadium Drive parking garage. For fans parking in Lot 73, access to Barnhill Arena is through Gate 1 of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Also as a reminder, will call is at the south side entrance of Barnhill.
The Razorbacks are ranked No. 8 in the nation and led by a pair of No. 1 individually ranked gymnasts. Senior All-American Jaime Pisani is No. 1 in the country for the fifth straight week on floor while sophomore All-American Katherine Grable is No. 1 in the all-around.
For Friday’s meet, Arkansas trading cards will be given out to fans entering Barnhill Arena, Academy "10" cards will be placed in the stands, t-shirts will be thrown into the crowd for every Razorback score of 9.80 or better, and there will be the Jason’s Deli Ticket Drawing for a UA student to win a Nintendo Wii and a drawing for the Louie’s Lucky Seat.
Friday’s meet is the last regular-season meet in Barnhill, but Arkansas is hosting the NCAA South Central Regional on April 7 at 4 p.m. Tickets for the regional and the SEC Championship in Duluth, Ga., are now on sale.
Tickets for the regional are $10 for adults and $5 for youth 18 and younger. A family plan is also available, including two adult and two youth tickets for $25.
