Q&A with a Razorback: Cobi Hamilton

Hamilton was a teammate of Ryan Mallett in high school, graduating from Texas High School and setting the Tigers’ single-season receiving record as a senior with 64 receptions for 1,071 yards and 14 touchdowns.Hamilton was recruited by many schools coming out of high school including Auburn, Texas and Nebraska. He was ranked the No. 63 receiver in the country by Rivals.com and the No. 108 recevier by Scout.com. Hamilton is also an accomplished track athlete. He has seen action in eight games this year catching 13 balls for 183 yards with one touchdown.MR: If you could play another sport besides football or track what would you play?CH: I would play baseball.MR: What is your favorite pregame song?CH: I’m Ready by Webbie.MR: What is your favorite Arkansas tradition?CH: Calling the Hogs.MR: If you could play another position in football what would you play?CH: Probably Safety.MR: Who is your favorite NFL player?CH: Terrell OwensMR: Why did you choose to come to Arkansas?CH: The tradition, along with the chance to play early and compete in the Southeastern Conference.MR: Who was better in high school, you or Ryan Mallett?CH: Ryan was.MR: What is your major and what do you plan to do after graduation?CH: My major is Kinesiology and I am getting a minor Equine Science. After graduation I hope to go to the NFL, but if that doesn’t work then I want to be a coach.MR: Where is your favorite place to vacation?CH: California.MR: What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
