Ragnow, Cornelius Join On The Air With Bret Bielema
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – “On the Air with Bret Bielema,” Coach Bielema’s weekly radio show presented by AT&T and West Rock Coffee Company, returns on Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the Catfish Hole.
This week’s show will feature the senior duo of offensive lineman Frank Ragnow and wide receiver Jared Cornelius as the Razorbacks prepare for their final road game of the season against No. 24 LSU on Saturday in Baton Rouge.
Live from the Catfish Hole for the ninth straight year, Chuck Barrett, the voice of the Razorbacks, will host Coach Bielema on the one-hour show. Fans can make reservations to attend the show by calling the Catfish Hole at 479-521-7008. Tickets are $25 and include an all you can eat dinner buffet with catfish, shrimp and chicken.
Recently named a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award and semifinalist for the Wuerffel Trophy and Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year award, Ragnow started 33 consecutive games and didn’t allow a sack over 2,603 career snaps at center and right guard before sustaining a season-ending ankle injury during the Auburn game on Oct. 21. The top graded offensive lineman in the nation by Pro Football focus over the last two seasons and one of the primary candidates for this year’s Rimington Trophy, Ragnow had only missed 43 offensive snaps since becoming a permanent starter as a sophomore in 2015.
A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Cornelius has been sidelined the past six games due to a season-ending Achilles injury he suffered in the third game of the season against Texas A&M. He had three catches for 35 yards and a touchdown against the Aggies before the injury early in the second half. Cornelius entered the season as Arkansas’ top leading returning wide receiver, finishing with 32 catches for 515 yards a season ago, highlighted by three 100-plus yard receiving performances.
The show will be carried throughout the state of Arkansas on the Razorback Sports Network and locally in Fayetteville on 99.5 FM, 92.1 FM and 93.3 FM.
