FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s tennis team has moved up from No. 29 to No. 23 in this week’s national rankings by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The Razorbacks went 1-1 last week, beating No. 26 Mississippi State, 5-2, and losing to No. 4 Ole Miss, 6-1. Ole Miss has moved up to No. 3 while MSU has dropped to No. 31. Arkansas is 11-5 and faces two more ranked opponents this weekend. UA plays at No. 58 Alabama on Friday and at No. 45 Auburn on Sunday. Individually, the Hogs are led by sophomore Adrians Zguns, who is 27-8 in singles and ranked No. 10 in the nation, and senior Nathan Price, who is 26-9 and ranked No. 83. Head coach Robert Cox’s club also features junior Imraan Ismail, who is 16-10. Ismail and sophomore Matt Roberts, who is 14-11 in singles, are 10-3 in doubles.
