In the two games last week against Alabama and LSU, freshman Courtney Fortson averaged 12.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 9.0 assists and 3.0 steals while shooting 81.3 percent (13-16) at the free-throw line. He had just seven turnovers in the two games. Fortson has had a season-high three steals in each of the last two games.

In the two games last week, freshman Rotnei Clarke averaged 19.0 points and 3.0 rebounds. He was 14-of-23 from the floor (.609), including 8-of-17 on threes (.471).

Also last week, freshman Jason Henry averaged 8.5 points and a team-high 7.0 rebounds.

Junior Michael Washington set a career high with 21 shot attempts at LSU. He made 11 shots and finished with a game-high 24 points. He has nine 20-point games for his career, all this year, and has led the team in scoring 14 times in his career, including 11 times this season.

As a team, Arkansas has made 36-of-46 free throws in the last two games, 78.3 percent; but its oppenents went a combined 31-of-37, 83.8 percent.

The Tennessee game is one of 13 this year Arkansas plays against team which won at least 20 games last season and one of 14 against teams earning either an NCAA Tournament or NIT bid a year ago.
