Razorback football team honors best of 2008

NFL stars Darren McFadden, Felix Jones and Shawn Andrews were on hand Saturday evening as University of Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino utilized halftime of the Red-White spring game to establish a new initiative honoring the senior class from the past season as well as naming team award winners. In addition to McFadden, Jones, and Andrews, several pros and former Razorbacks greats were on hand including Ken Hamlin, Marcus Harrison, Steve Conley, Joe Dean Davenport, Marvin Caston, Tony Bua, Quinn Grovey, Clint Stoerner and Cedric Cobbs. Prior to the team awards, the 2008 senior class was honored. In the past four seasons, the senior class helped Arkansas to 27 wins, including a 10-win season and an outright SEC Western Division Championship. The class made January bowl appearances in the Capital One Bowl and the Cotton Bowl. University of Arkansas Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics, Jeff Long, was on the field for the team awards presentation. Winners of the 2008 University of Arkansas team awards were:
